Rainbows

Rainbows When children and parents are trying to make sense of what has happened in their home as a result of divorce, Rainbows can help. This 7 week class helps kids work through the anger and emotional pain and provides strategies to help them cope with their new family situation. Parents learn how to respond supportively towards their children in this period of adjustment.

WHAT:
Small support classes with trained facilitators. Each week the kids have interactive lessons with their teacher to help them process and talk about what they are feeling in regards to what has happened in their family.

COST: There is a $20.00 fee to cover the cost of workbooks

WHAT ABOUT PARENTS:
The parents portion of this course is called PRISMS and runs at the same time as the kids class. This parent group helps parents get on the same page as their kids by learning how to respond appropriately to their child's grief.
