KOT Youth

KOT Youth (Shift) is held every Friday night from 7-9 pm and generally consist of recreational activities.

Shift nights may include field trips and/or on site activities which may include life skills building, character building games, team building events and relationship building activities. Intermittently a "talk time" is scheduled regarding various topics including drug awareness, sex and relationships, reaching potential, self-esteem, anger management, peer relations, communication skills and more. Activity nights do not merely serve as a recreation outlet for the youth. These times are structured for learning positive peer relations, developing relationships with adult mentors and improving self-esteem through learning of new skills while accomplishing team initiatives.

By providing supervised, fun, social activities we hope these youth will not fall prey to the problems that stem from boredom and inactivity.

WHEN: Friday evenings weekly from 6:30 - 9PM

WHERE: Beginning January 2012 we will be meeting at Meadowlark Christian School 9825-158 St at 6:30 or meet at West Edmonton Mall entrance 50 at 6:00 pm for a ride ( See the Contact page for more details)

WHAT: Games, food, prizes

BRING: A toonie if you can and as many friends as you can handle! Bring a NEW friend and get a prize bag!
